![]() Please make sure you have the latest version of Remote Buddy installed.Any assistance would be mucho appreciated! The user I'm logged in as is a standard (not administrative) user, if that makes a difference. And this is an otherwise virgin installation of Yosemite on a new Mac mini. I'm running Mac OS 10.10.1 and installed apps are very minimal, consisting of Plex, Mobile Mouse Server, Remote Buddy, Handbrake, and Onyx. ![]() I'm completely at a dead end here and have no idea what to do next. Thinking maybe it was a problem with SwitchResX, I created a new keystroke to be sent to Finder consisting of CMD-K to open the Connect to Server popup. The new custom behavior cannot be found when I go back to my Remote Buddy Preferences to add this to my menu. I've compiled it, test drove it, the whole 9 yards. In the Behavior Factory, I created a new behavior and added the action made earlier. Using the Action Factory, I created a new action with "implementation" being the keystroke CMD-OPT-CTRL-T. ![]() I've pored over the instructions for creating a custom behavior. no need to have a specific app selected first. ![]() I have that Display Set ready be activated in SRX using CMD-OPT-CTRL-T. Basically I want to create a custom action that simply presses a keyboard combo to activate a Display Set in SwitchResX. I'm having a nagging issue with creating a custom behavior and just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've recently decided to give using a Mac mini as an HTPC a whirl and am back to using Remote Buddy for the first time in a few years. New Mac Pro (2013 trashcan model) - OSX 10.11.4 (El Capitan), one HDMI 1.4 port only.Īpple 27" Thunderbolt Display - connected via thunderbolt to Mac Pro. The HDMI cable out of the adapter into the TV has to be plugged into the "HDMI DVI" input on the TV.Īlso in the picture settings on the TV, the "HDMI UHD Colour" needs to be turned on. The difference is amazing, I'm not sure how I used to put up with the mouse lag at 30hz. I almost gave up until I realised that I needed to restart my Mac for it to take effect lol. I can confirm it also works at up to 2160p at 60hz too, it's just too small for me to read as a computer monitor. I now run the two displays from my Mac Pro, the thunderbolt display at 2560 x 1440 and my Samsung LED at 2560 x 1440 at 60hz via the Club 3D adapter. I couldn't find much information of similar setups on the internet so I just bought the adapter hoping it may work, and it did, thanks CLUB 3D!!!
